In the this episode of Friday Knight Lights, hosts Julia Copas and Callen Romell sit down with senior running back Devon Robinson to talk about his transition to Austin, the influence football has had on his life and his plans for moving forward after a season-ending injury.
Devon Robinson moved to Austin last spring from San Benito, a small town in the Rio Grande Valley. While playing for the San Benito Greyhounds, Robinson was first team all-district and an all-state linebacker. In the spring, he was on the Knights’ 7-on-7 football team that made it to the state tournament. This fall, he was a starting running back and a three-way player for McCallum before getting injured in the Battle of the Bell game against Travis.
